The Doors - L. A. Woman (1971)

"Love her madly", "The W.A.S.P", "Riders on the storm" y algún muy buen blues onda "Cars hiss by my window" y "Been down so long" en el que Jim se queja y maldice con frecuencia.

I live all around / Vivo en todas partes

I had money / Tuve dinero
I had none / No tuve nada
But I never been so broke / Pero nunca estuve tan colgado
That I couldn't leave town / Como para no poder dejar la ciudad

I'm the air you breathe, / Soy el aire que respiras
Food you eat, / La comida que comes
Friends you greet / Los amigos que saludas
In the swarming street / En la multitud de la calle

See me change / Mira como cambio

I'm leaving town, / Abandonaré la ciudad
On the midnight train, / En el tren de medianoche
Gonna see me change / Vas a ver como cambio

Love her madly / Ámala locamente

All your love is gone / Todo tu amor se acabó
So sing a lonely song / Por eso canta una canción solitaria
Of a deep blue dream / De un triste sueño profundo
Seven horses seem / Siete caballos parecen estar
To be on the mark. / En la línea de salida

Don't you love her madly? / ¿No la amas locamente?

Been down so long / Jodido tanto tiempo

Well, I been down so God-damn long / He estado jodido durante tanto tiempo
That it looks like up to me / Que esto me parece bueno para mi
Now, why don't one of you people / Ahora, ¿por qué no viene uno de vosotros
C'mon and set me free? / Y me deja en libertad?

Car hiss by my window / Coches silban bajo mi ventana

The cars hiss by my window / Los coches silban bajo mi ventana
Like the waves down on the beach. / Como las olas en la playa
I got this girl reside me, / Tengo a esta chica a mi lado
But she's out of reach / Pero está fuera de mi alcance

Headlights thru my window, / Las luces de los faros atraviesan mi ventana
Shining on the wall. / Iluminando la pared
Can't hear muy baby, / No puedo oír a mi chica
Tho'I call and call / Aunque la llamo y la llamo

Window started tremblin' / Las ventanas empezaron a temblar
With those sonic boom / Con un sonoro retumbar
A cold girl'll kill you / Una chica fría te matará
In a darkened room / En una habitación oscura

Well, I just got into town about an hour ago / Bueno, He llegado a la ciudad hace casi una hora
Took a look around, see which way the wind blow / Eché un vistazo para ver hacia dónde sopla el viento
Where the little girls in their Hollywood bungalows / Allí donde las chiquillas en sus casas hollywoodienses
Are you a lucky little lady in the city of light?
Or just another lost angel / O solamente otro ángel perdido

I see your hair is burning / Veo que tu pelo está ardiendo
Hills are filled with fire / Las colinas invadidas por el fuego
If the say I never loved you / Si te dicen que nunca te amé
You know they are a liar / Tú sabes que mienten

Drivi' down your freeway / Impidiéndote el paso
Midnight alleys roam / La medianoche ronda los callejones
Cops in cars / Policías en coches
The topless bar / Bares top-less
Never saw a woman so alone / Nunca vi a una mujer tan sola

Motel / Motel
Money / Dinero
Murder / Asesino
Madness / Locura
Let's change the mood / Cambiemos el humor
From glad to sadness / De la alegría a la tristeza

I took a trip down to L'America / Hice un viaje a L'America
To trade some beads for a pint of gold.

C'mon people, don't you look so down / Vega, amigos, no os desaniméis
You know the rainman's comin' to town / Sabéis que el hombre de la lluvia está llegando a la ciudad
He'll change your weather / Él cambiará vuestro tiempo
He'll change your luck / Él cambiará vuestra suerte
Then he'll teach you how to find yourself / Y entonces os enseñará cómo encontraros a vosotros mismos

Friendly strangers came to town / Simpáticos extranjeros llegaron a la ciudad
All the people put them down / Toda la gente les humilló
But the women loved their ways / Pero las mujeres amaban sus costumbres
Come again some other day / Vuelve algún otro día
Like the gentle rain / Como la lenta lluvia
Like the gentle rain that falls / Como la lenta lluvia que cae

Hyacinth house

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house / ¿Qué están haciendo en la casa Hyacinth
To please the lions this day? / para contentar a los leones este día?

I need a brand new friend who doesn't bother me / Necesito un flamante nuevo amigo que no me moleste
I need a brand new friend who doesn't trouble me / Necesito un flamante nuevo amigo que no me cause problemas
I need someone who doesn't need me /Necesito a alguien que no me necesite

Crawling King Snake

I'm the Crawlin' King Snake /
And I rule my den /
Yeah, don't mess 'round with my mate /
Gonna use her for myself /
Caught me crawlin', baby, window /
Grass is very high /
Keep on crawlin' till the day I die /

The WASP (Radio Texas & The Big Beat)

Listen to this I'll tell you about the heartaches / Escucha esto, te hablaré de la angustia
I'll tell you about the heartaches and the loss of God / Te hablaré de la angustia y la pérdida de Dios
I'll tell you about the hopeless night / Te hablaré de la noche sin esperanza
The meager food the souls forgot / El escaso alimento de las almas que olvidaron
Tell you about the maiden with wrought iron soul / Te hablaré de la joven con alma de hierro forjado

I'll tell you this / Te diré esto
No eternal reward can forgive us now / La recompensa eterna no nos perdonará
For wasting the dawn / por haber malgastado el amanecer

I'll tell you about Texas Radio and the big beat / Te hablaré de Texas Radio y el gran ritmo
Soft-driven, slow and mad like some new language.

Riders on the storm / Jinetes en la tormenta

Riders on the storm / Jinetes en la tormenta
Into this house we're born / En esta casa hemos nacido
Into this world we're thrown / A este mundo hemos sido arrojados
Like a dog without a bone / Como un perro sin hueso
An actor out on loan / Como un actor de prestado

Riders on the storm / Jinetes en la tormenta
There's a killer on the road / Hay un asesino en la carretera
His brain is squirming like a toad / Su cerebro retorciéndose como un sapo
Take a long holiday / Toma unas largas vacaciones
Let your children play / Deja que tus hijos jueguen
If you give this man a ride / Si paras a ese hombre
Sweet family will die / La dulce familia morirá

Girl you gotta love your your man / Chica, debes amar a tu hombre
Take him by the hand / Cógele de la mano
Make him understand / Hazle entender
The world on you depends / El mundo depende de ti
Our life will never end / Nuestra vida no acabará
You gotta love your man / Debes amar a tu hombre

Is now gone, black suit with the black Ray Ban's on
Walk in shadow, move in silence
Guard against extra-terrestrial violence

We're your first, last and only line of defense
Against the worst scum of the universe

But everytime I come I always wind up stayin
This the type of town I could spend a few days in
Miami the city that keeps the roof blazin

Gonna pack the dance floor
(And do what with it?)
Rock the dance floor
Here it comes the party of a lifetime
31st of December
Man I remember when the ball dropped for 90
Now it's 9-9, ten years behind me
What's gonna happen?
Don't nobody know
We'll see when the clock gets to 12-0-0
Chaos, the cops gonna block the street
Man who the hell cares?
Just don't stop the beat
No time to sleep, yo it's on tonight
K-C you feeling me right? (Yeah)
2-0-0-0, the Will 2K
The new millennium, yo excuse me Willennium (yeah)
It can't get thicker than this (Big Will)
Slick like Rick I can't miss
(And we gonna party like it's 19)
Hold up it is
Here it comes another year
Come on everyone, new millennium
Here it comes another year
Everyone, new millennium
There's a party tonight
Everybody was drinking
The house was screaming
And the bass was shaking
And it won't be long
Till everybody knowing
That twelve o'clock the roof will be blowing
Drinks on me, up the cups, and
Midnight coming full thrust, and
Dick Clark holding it down, and
The second hand rolling around (Na, na, na, na)
Hundred thousands deep, world wide press
Hate to be the man that gotta clean this mess
Same resolution, get the money
Ain't where we've been, it's where we gonna be
Get ready to hum Auld Lang Syne
Cause a person that know the words is hard to find
First soul train line of the year
Four, three, two, one
Its here and I like it
(Whoo! K-Ci y'all, K-Ci y'all)
Gonna pack the dance floor
(And do what with it?)
Rock the dance floor
(Uh, uh, uh)
Here it comes another year
Come on everyone, new millennium
Here it comes another year
Everyone, new millennium
Say yeah, yeah
(Come on)
Say yeah, yeah
(I can't hear y'all)
Say yeah, yeah
(What? What? What?)
Say yeah, yeah
(Come on, come on)
Say yeah, yeah
(I can't hear y'all)
Say yeah, yeah
(I can't hear y'all)
Say yeah, yeah
(Ha-ha-ha)
Yeah, yeah
I remember trying to count how old I'd be
When the clock struck twelve in the year two g
Medianoche finally near
This will be that anthem amongst the cheers
Just the man to usher it in
Big Will bringing the heat
K-Ci bringing the plan
Ringing it in, waiting for the ball to drop
That 2000 vault we breaking the lock
Let hip-hop keep blazing the charts
May the past keep a warm spot in your heart
May the future hold more joy then pain
Hands in the air waiting for confetti to rain
It's here and I like it
Gonna pack the dance floor
Rock the dance floor
Here it comes another year
Come on everyone, new millennium
Here it comes another year
Everyone, new millennium
There's a party tonight
Everybody was drinking
The house was screaming
And the bass was shaking
And it won't be long
Till everybody knowing at twelve o'clock
At 12 o'clock
Say what? Say what? Say what? What?
Here it comes another year
Come on everyone, new millennium
Here it comes another year
Everyone, new millennium
True dat, true dat, true dat
Yo London, uh come on
Yo Bangkok, come on, come on
LA, ha, ha
The NYC
Come on, say what? Say what?
Yo Philly, come on, hey
Hey Tokyo, come on
Everybody say what now
Say what now, saw what now
Come on, come on, come on

New hotness, pitch black, 600, man

Just open your eyes, honey, look right here, thank you
Mission completed, I mean it, we won't be defeated

Galaxy defenders, don't act like you don't remember
Takin' contenders and provn' they only pretenders
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls
